Come and Join us and Dance your way to Fitness!
Dance Fusion is an adult dance class for all ages and all levels of ability.
We have two classes twice a week just after school drop-off on a Monday and Friday morning during Gloucestershire term times. Many mums from St Catharines’ and ladies in Campden and surrounding villages come and it’s a great way to get to know people. Coffee (and dare I say cakes!) are served in a café in Chipping Campden Baptist Church after the Monday class.
We have also started a Tuesday evening class in Meon Vale Leisure Centre.
Dance Fusion classes start with warm-up exercises to music to get the blood pumping, then we learn a short dance routine – a salsa one week, a jive the next, or even a bit of Bruno Mars, ending with stretching, floor work for toning different parts of the body and cool down.
No dance experience is necessary, the idea is to exercise in a fun way. Exercises are given at different levels to suit different abilities You may have seen the article on us in The Cotswold Journal, describing us as more than a dance class, that we’ve become like a family – do come and join us, we’re very welcoming and certainly don’t take ourselves too seriously!.

A bit more for members of CCBC
Susie Wiltshire sensed a call from God to establish Dance Fusion as a way of using her gifts, keeping fit, encouraging community and making connections with those outside CCBC. She comments, “In obedience to an idea I felt came from God, I started “Just Looking Lunches”, where women were invited to my home, each bringing something to share for lunch, with the idea of chatting and hearing one person’s story of how they came to faith. The women in my class are used to coming round for lunch and talking to me about my faith when the subject comes up. My hope and prayer is that the Lord will use Dance Fusion as a way of connecting with women and a vehicle to introduce them to Jesus.”
