Finance

As a church we are committed to following Jesus, living as growing disciples and aiming to fulfil our vision. Jesus teaches that giving is part of our worship and faithful commitment to God and His mission in the world.

As such, the mission and ministry at CCBC is financed and funded by regular giving and generosity of our congregation and members; by regular offerings and gifts, either in the offering week by week, or through standing orders and direct debits.

There are different ways to give…

  • Cash or Cheques (payable to ‘Chipping Campden Baptist Church’) in the weekly offering baskets on a Sunday morning.
  • Using a Standing Order or Direct Debit (forms available for download below)
  • Tax Efficient Giving. As a registered charity we are able to reclaim Gift Aid on any offerings or gifts made by UK tax-payers; this currently is set at 25%, meaning that for every £1 given, we’re able to reclaim an extra 25p. Our Church Treasurer can advise you further. A Gift Aid form is available to download below.

CCBC Finance - Practical Matters

The members of CCBC agree our yearly budget at the Church Vision Meeting in November and February.

We generally have an annual Gift Day, often in June, through which we are able to express our gratitude in a ‘thanksgiving’ offering.

Our accounts are audited and submitted to the Charity Commission.

Chipping Campden Baptist Church is a Registered UK Charity no.1131767
